BHAKTI (bkt) is Sanskrit and (short definition) means devotion or worship as a means to enlightenment and being open (to all persons irrespective of class or caste).
BHEKA (bay'ka) is Sanskrit for frog - which need a clean environment/planet earth/air-water-land quality. And frogs live in communities, connected and interdependent, which is what we want. For us then Bheka is a metaphore for environment and community.
BHAKTI-BHEKA - our new name -is our way of saying we are devoted to environment and community.
We practice "business yoga". We seriously believe that the concepts of yoga and "healthy lifestyle" (broadly defined) can and should be applied to business, in addtion to our individual selves.
We committ to operating our yoga business in accord with "business yoga". We will keep you updated as we progress with this. We committe to Truth and Education in our marketing! Anytime you feel you have a constructive observation you wish to share, please email us with it. We appreciate heartfelt guidance.
We have been serving "you" since 1996. We have changed several times since then and have again just recently. We make many of our own products, and the majority of our products are made by our friends and neighbors in our national economic region (the USA). We do seek excellence, and do distribute excellent products where ever they may be from. We are always open for recommendations and constructive communication.
Each of us practices healthy lifestyles (as we understand and are able to implement) and loves yoga. You'll experience our dedication through our excellent customer care and our highest quality choice of products. Quality customer service, quality thoughtful products. It's what we want to create in our world. We want to give and receive truth, value, connection, consideration, tolerance, honesty, joy, sharing, support, and feeling valued. We commit to supporting other businesses with these values and behaviors too! Conscious choices do make a difference. And we wish to acknowledge those of you that share this vision, live it in your choices, and are our customers, supporters and friends in this "community".
Yoga is an ancient system of self-care. When the older amongst us first learned yoga back in the early 70s, they understood it was all about becoming a better person, from the inside on outward - and (yoga) still does. At BHAKTI-BHEKA we commit to this understanding. We also make conscientious business choices to allow future generations of yogis and other healthy persons to enjoy a clean and beautiful planet: a planet that is healthy itself and that can sustain a healthy standard of living for all life.
It is our pleasure to serve you, to be a part of the growing number of people who are committed to living a conscious and healthful life and to support others on that path.

PS: Old new buzz: being "cheap" is not a virtue, it is selfishness in disguise (the opposite of sharing), and catering to it ultimately harms our social fabrics health and vibrancy. We still have the idea that a healthy society spreads wealth around rather than concentrating it amongst the few. We do not personally shop at Wal-Mart. We are still learning. MORE TO READ IF YOU ARE INTERESTED: We have been donating props - mats mostly - to non-profits and various other small organizations that are coping with little to no money, with staff and teachers that are literally working for free (volunteering) or for little reimbursement and are bringing yoga and relaxation, calmness, perhaps openness and peace, to persons and groups with aids, in poor schools, to women's shelters, to marginally housed or employed persons in stress. We have been encouraged to make this public since this is part of who we are.
